Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.18 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 126-127. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Laureate head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. COS III Victory seated left, holding wreath in her right hand and palm in her left. BMC 426. Cohen -. RIC 858. Nicely toned. A few minor edge cracks and struck from a slightly worn reverse die, otherwise, very fine.

From an American collection, privately acquired in February 1960 (with collector's ticket).
